If you want to search for a particular ingredient, simply press "Control F" on your keyboard to find what recipes include the ingredient you're looking for. Improvements will hopefully come to this eventually. If this means does not suit you, suit yourself.
You can be a vegetarian and be cheap too!
Note on Recipes:
Recipes are like "The Code" in Pirates of the Carribean -- recipes "are more like guidelines, really." Don't be afraid to improvise with your ingredients. The only things you really have to make sure that you don't use too much or too little of are salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
